When I lived in Perth, Australia,
years ago, two strangers started a conversation.
Different accents. Different places. Same curiosity.
Each conversation — each one — is a small moment.

A moment to listen. To try another language. To laugh at mistakes.
To see yourself in someone else, far away.
When people talk, something happens.
The world feels smaller. Differences feel softer. Fear loses its power.
The more we speak with each other, the more we understand something simple:
People are people. No matter the language. No matter the country. No matter the distance.
Every conversation is a step.
Not just to learn a language.
But towards a world where connection matters more than perfection.
That’s how speaking a new language feels for many people.
It’s not about speaking a language.
